Texas Co-op Power magazine is a monthly publication that celebrates the rich culture, history, and lifestyle of Texas. Serving over 1 million homes and businesses, it reaches approximately 3 million readers, primarily members of electric cooperatives across rural, small-town, and suburban Texas. The magazine offers features on daily life in contemporary Texas, stories by some of the state’s best writers, and tips on cooking, recreation, nature, gardening, and things to do and places to go around the state.
In collaboration with their magazine designer, we ensured a seamless transition from print to web, maintaining consistent design elements that reflect the publication’s identity. Recognizing the abundance of high-quality imagery, we developed the website to prominently feature large photographs and interactive galleries, bringing the visual stories to life online. To cater to the magazine’s diverse readership, we implemented a login system that delivers location-specific content, allowing users to access articles relevant to their area. Additionally, readers can browse articles online or download full PDFs of the printed edition, providing flexible access to the magazine’s rich content.
